Our first monthly meeting of 2025 will be on the second Thursday of January, due to the New Year’s Holiday and will be a more casual agenda. This will be a more casual meet-up than our monthly meetings, with an optional Icebreaker + Orientation for new members. We look forward to seeing you – bring a friend!

Our November monthly meeting will hear from Jennifer Donlon-Wyant, City of Sacramento’s Transportation Planning Manager and Strong SacTown member Matt Anderson, both speaking on safe and productive street design.

We will also be recapping our two big events of September: Park(ing) Day and Clean Air Day!

Our September monthly meeting will hear from Strong SacTown member Steve Schweigerdt with Sac Valley Conservancy on the importance of preserving open space. We will also have breakouts to plan our 2 big events this month and to learn how to talk to your elected officials!

Our August monthly meeting will hear from 2 speakers on the City of Sacramento’s Streets for People plan and on a draft ballot measure to provide county-wide funding for transit and more.

Our July monthly meeting will be on the 2nd Thursday due to the 4th of July holiday, and will be held at our new meeting location!

Come join us at our June meeting at Old Soul at the Weatherstone (812 21st St)! We will be joined briefly by District 4 Councilmember Katie Valenzuela. We will also discuss the City Council Final Budget Hearing, upcoming June social events, and updates from our Streets for People project.
