Strong SacTown is planning an event for global Parking Day on Saturday, September 21! The goal is to demonstrate better uses for parking space by holding an event with art, outreach, and activism.
We have selected a few on-street parking spaces on 10th Street outside Cafe Xocolatl (with the blessing of the cafe owner) that we will be “taking over” with artificial turf, benches, and tables to turn into parklets and community outreach booths!
We need your help to gather materials, plan fun programming, and table at the event! Sign up to volunteer today!
