Strong SacTown has in-person monthly meetings on the 1st Thursday of the month at 6-7 PM.
Please join early (between 5:30 – 6:00 PM) if you’re new and want to learn more about who we are before the meeting!
This month’s speaker will be Steve Schweigerdt, a dedicated Strong SacTown member, staff at Sacramento Valley Conservancy, and local leader of the effort to make Sacramento a National Park City. We need to fight sprawl projects that violate Sac County’s Urban Service Boundary and threaten more open space and natural habitat.
We will also have breakouts on our upcoming events – 9/21 Park(ing) Day and 9/28 Clean Air Day – and how to talk to your elected officials.
You can also join the post-meeting hangout at Roscoe’s Bar & Burgers (2007 K St) around the corner from 7:15 PM onward!
