Strong SacTown has in-person monthly meetings on the 1st Thursday of the month at 6-7 PM.
Please join early (between 5:30 – 6:00 PM) if you’re new and want to learn more about who we are before the meeting!
This month, we will hear from two speakers: a staff person in the City of Sacramento’s transportation planning office about the Streets for People plan and Emel Wadhwani from SMART (Sacramento Metro Advocates for Rail and Transit) about a draft ballot measure that would provide county-wide funding for climate, housing, safe streets and active transportation, and public transit.
You can also join the post-meeting hangout at Roscoe’s Bar & Burgers (2007 K St) around the corner from 7:15 PM onward!
